What is Classical Education?
Classical Education is about training students to know and love truth, goodness, and beauty. We don't just teach subjects like many schools do. As Dorothy Sayers argued, the problem with modern education is that students learn subjects without learning how to learn. On the contrary, classical education uses the liberal arts to teach you lifelong learning skills that will help you grow in every area of your life. Students learn how to learn as they develop the skills of grammar (knowledge), logic (understanding) and rhetoric (persuasion). The ancients knew how to teach those skills, and we carry that great tradition.

Our Biblical Convictions
Everyone has a worldview, which governs his or her entire way of thinking and living. For the Classical Training Ground, our worldview is the Christian faith as defined in the Bible and passed through its historical creeds and confessions. People of all backgrounds are welcome to learn here, but the teaching material will be presented from a Christian point of view.
